Obedience is listening to the complete voice of God even when you don't understand the why. We cannot obey the things we want to hear and then void out the instructions that we may feel is hard to do or that goes against the grain. Do you ever ask yourself, "How much of what I'm doing every day is really coming from God?" Are you doing things in your own might and saying it's God or are you walking and waiting in obedience for that sometimes still small voice or just listening to the crowd, getting excited, and following the thing you think is right but that is not God's heart? In a world that responds to loudness, are you willing to wait in silence? Your obedience is better than sacrifice. Your sacrifice will cost you the Kingdom if it's done in disobedience and in vain. God doesn't Bless what he doesn't honor! We are under direct orders to produce Heaven on Earth; therefore, we must have knowledge of obedience and rebellion so that when you know the truth you will then live out the truth. Have you lost anything because of disobedience? And if so, what can we do to change the outcome of our future?
